Through the hot, sulfury steam lies the many hot springs of Yellowstone. It is just before dusk and the heat is very refreshing. This painting is from a trip I took to Yellowstone with my fiance. The sun was just hitting the mountain ridges and was creating light rays from all the steam in the valley. The moment lasted a breathtaking 10 minutes.
