Light pushes through the clouds as the cool mist begins to rise. The light slowly begins to heat the valley as the top of the mountain comes more into view. This painting is the beginning of a series of paintings I did while hiking through Glacier. This moment was halfway through a long day in the rain, and was the moment shortly before the rain started dissipating.
