Surrounded by vibrant greens, dripping and slightly transparent, lies a hidden figure in the background. She peers out, peacefully hit with lights of pale blue. My paintings are often used as departure points from events in my life that are meaningful. The more I have fun reminiscing about the event the more it slowly becomes something else. This piece is from my fiance's birthday and everything that happened that day. It helps remind me to really enjoy these moments in life.
